How to install an IPTV app on an LG Smart TV (webOS)
LG Smart TVs run webOS, and the LG Content Store is the safest place to get an IPTV player. This guide shows how to install Hit Player and add your playlist.
Step by step
- 1
Open the LG Content Store
Press the Home button on your LG remote and open Apps (LG Content Store).
- 2
Search for Hit Player
Select the search icon and type “Hit Player”.
- 3
Install and launch
Select Install, then Launch. Accept the terms of use on first launch.
- 4
Note your device ID
Your device ID is shown in the bottom-right corner of the home screen. Keep it handy if your provider or reseller asks for it.
- 5
Add your playlist
Go to Accounts and enter your M3U playlist URL — or the server URL, username and password from your provider.
- 6
Start watching
Open Live Channels, Movies or Series. Your 7-day free trial is already running.
Troubleshooting
I can't find Hit Player in the LG Content Store
Make sure the TV is online and webOS is up to date (Settings › General › About This TV). App availability can vary by country and TV model.
My playlist doesn't load
Check the server URL, username and password — they are case-sensitive. If it still fails, the provider's server may be down; contact your provider.
Videos buffer or freeze
Use a wired connection or move the router closer, restart the TV and router, and ask your provider about server load.
A player, not a provider
Hit Player does not provide, sell or host any channels, playlists or subscriptions. You need your own playlist from a provider you are legally entitled to use. We do not support piracy.
hitiptvplayer.com is the only official Hit Player website.
Your TV is ready. Press play.
Install Hit Player from your TV's app store and try every feature free for 7 days.
