Quick fixes
Try these first:
- Restart your TV and router — unplug both for 30 seconds.
- Use a wired Ethernet connection instead of Wi-Fi if you can.
- On Wi-Fi, move the router closer or switch to the 5 GHz band.
- Check your internet speed: HD needs about 10 Mbps and 4K about 25 Mbps per stream.
- Pause other downloads and streams on your network.
- Try another channel — if only one channel buffers, the problem is that stream.
When the problem is your network
If the quick fixes don't help, look at the connection itself:
- Your internet provider may slow down streaming traffic at peak times.
- A VPN adds delay — test with it turned off.
- Old routers struggle with HD streams — check for a firmware update.
When the problem is your provider
If every channel buffers at busy times such as evenings or big live events, your provider's server is probably overloaded. Contact your provider — a better player can't fix a slow source.
